Bacup Borough  Manager Brent Peters confirmed that the squad which last season got the club to the play off final have all re signed which is excellent news for the club, however club captain Shane Birtles, Kelvin Trippier, and Gareth Wager are not likely to be available in their FA CUP trip to Atherton Collieries, Shane Birtles and Kelvin Trippier are due to be admitted to hospital for a minor operation, Birtles is his knee whilst Trippier is his foot, Gareth Wager is away and if this is not bad enough last seasons leading scorer Matthew Barlow is serving a one match ban carried over from last season.

Andrew Foster Centre Back is another new signing from Rochdale Town but due to holidays no picture of him is available Bacup Shirt.

Luke Podmore Defender is another close season signing from Bacup Borough’s Play Off Semi Final Opponents Stockport Town, Luke had the most appearances at his previous club and will prove to be a valuable addition into the Bacup squad.
