This game replaces the previously scheduled game with Hoddesdon Town from Hertfordshire to whom had to withdraw due to circumstances beyond their control.

Bacup Manager Brent Peters said “ I am pleased to accommodate   Academy 92 this will prove to be an excellent work out for both sides, the fact that quite a lot of my first team squad are unavailable due to holiday commitments, this game will offer me the opportunity to combine the remaining first teamers with some of our u18s and maybe some of our newly formed u21s, Peters added “ whatever team I put out I know that this will be an extremely tough game, given they are full time they will be strong, fit, athletic and certainly well organised, Peters added “ I think I am right in saying four sixteen year olds turned out for Salford Cities first team last week against FC United of Manchester and looked anything but out of place, to this end I am sure anyone that comes to watch will see some excellent football, there will be no charge on the gate, however we would gratefully accept donations “
