Gareth Wager Back In Contention

Whilst the freezing icy snowy conditions have meant very little football lately for the West View side, one piece of good news for Manager Brent Peters ahead of what is going to be a busy New Year was the return of Gareth Wager who has not played since Runcorn Town on the 10th of November. Commenting on this situation, Peters said “Gareth has had a few issues recently which has impaired upon his availability for selection. Thankfully Gareth has got himself sorted and he is now ready for selection”. Peters added: “The fact we have now got Gareth back gives me the opportunity of moving Arron Kirk back to his natural position, credit to Arron he has done well at the back alongside Otis but by having him there we have lost his creative talents from midfield. The fact we have Gareth back, new signings Dave Grey and welcoming Martin Cosgrave back, with Lee Oldham and Artjoms Butorins not too far off, we will be well equipped to progress well in the New Year”
