Gareth Wager issued the following statement:

In response to the recent decision from the lancashire F.A that I did NOT urinate during the game v Stone Dominoes, I would firstly and most importantly like to thank my manager Brent Peters. He asked me once if I had done it, and once I told him the accusations were false, he did absolutely everything in his power to make sure that the truth came out and the F.A came to the correct decision. The F.A come under such scrutiny at time’s, but I would like to praise the panel at the L.F.A for using common sense in this matter and unearthing the truth and can’t wait to get back playing again.
