Oliver’s Commitment Earns Contract

Manger Brent Peters & Oliver Crew signing his contract

Another Peters Fledgling Commits For The Future . Bacup Borough Manager Brent Peters awarded another one of his young guns from Bacup Borough Youth Structure with a contract. Oliver Crew first made his senior debut at Stockport in March of the 2017/18 football season at the tender age of sixteen years of age, Oliver is a left side defender, strong player that loves a challenge, Manager Brent Peters kept faith with Oliver going into the start of the 2018/19 season when following a good pre season and not looking out of place in the Pre Season friendlies, Peters selected Oliver in the opening games and once again he did not disappoint, the biggest disappointment for the boy was he did sustain an injury which kept him on the side lines for several weeks but once fit Oliver worked himself again back into the side which has now earned himself a firm deal going forward. The Bacup Manager Brent Peter’s had this to say ” The fact I gave this boy his debut at sixteen years of age, entrusted him to play at the heart of our defence, just shows how much I think of Oliver, the lad is solid, he is not fazed in putting in a challenge and his timing is impeccable, Oliver would have had far more appearances in the first team than he actually got but for an injury that kept him out for a quarter of the season, his commitment & attitude both on and off the pitch has gone a long way in the boy getting this reward, the fact that Oliver is a valley lad, that is also the cherry on the cake, Peters finished by saying” this contract is not the end, it is the beginning, it is now his hard work starts and he continues his Development”
